Role of IT Eastman Kodak's Worldwide Information Systems (WWIS)
organization is viewed as a strategic component of the company, providing the
corporation with a competitive advantage in the marketplace. WWIS is a global
organization that provides support for Information Systems and Technology in
approximately fifty (50) countries, has employees located in forty (40) countries and
is currently deploying an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solution across the
company in order to manage the company's operations. WWIS is responsible for the
following functions within Kodak:

WWIS provides the architecture, security and technology foundation that is required to
manage Kodak's operations. This is accomplished via the operation of state-of-the-art
data centers around the world which provide a secure virus free environment, a world
class network enabling global digital communication, storage capacity and computing
power that flexes to match the corporate needs and other functions such as e-mail,
telephone, helpdesk services and contract management.

WWIS is responsible for the systems development and support for business functions
such as Sales and Marketing, Logistics, Manufacturing, Finance, Procurement,
Research and Development, various Corporate Functions and Human Resources. It also
acts as a strategic partner of Kodak Business Units and Corporate Functions enabling
them to achieve their vision as it pertains to managing the company.
